Jumia Adds Pick-up Centres In Drive

Online marketplace Jumia has announced plans to increase its pick-up stations across the country.
Managing Director Sam Chappatte (pictured) said the firm hopes to expand its countrywide network to 600 stations, up from the current 170.
Eldoret town alone will get 20 new pick-up stations in the expansion drive.

The new strategy relies on an agency model through which businesses earn up to Sh20,000 for hosting the centres.
