Physical features

Up on the screen area, the 8MP front facing camera is right next to call speaker slits, and dual flash

Underneath there’s a headphone jack, call microphone, charging port and speaker grilles.

In the back, fingerprint scanner is placed adjacent to the 13MP primary camera and flash

Volume rockers and  power button are on the right side of the Tecno Spark 2

The SIM tray is on the left side

It consists of 2 nano SIMs and one memory card slot

Price

The Tecno Spark 2 is currently not available for sale, but official price is pegged at ₦36,200.

First Impressions

Even before handling the Tecno Spark 2, my first thought was “1GB RAM, Tecno, really?”. But before running away with that thought, I stopped to consider that this is somewhat a budget smartphone and the specs are not supposed to be glowing. Secondly, I have to actually use the phone to see how the 1GB RAM performs; even though I stubbornly still suspect it won’t be anywhere near excellent. But budget phone, still.

Apart from this seeming hitch, from design to camera and battery every other thing looks and feels well stacked. An experiential review will show more strengths and weaknesses.
