France Stars Pose With Superbowl-Style Rings Bought By Paul Pogba And Antoine Griezmann To Mark World Cup Win

France's World Cup winning heroes have finally got their hands - or more specifically, their fingers - on their commemorative rings.
The rings, based on the bling given to winners of the NFL's Superbowl, were the brainchild of Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann, as a physical celebration of their triumph in Russia.
Now the jewelry has found its way to the players, and was modeled by midfielder Blaise Matuidi, alongside Pogba, on social media.

Matuidi was thrilled with the ring, and wrote on Instagram: 'Unforgettable gift for an unforgettable memory. Thank you from the heart for the jewelry @paulpogba'.
Pogba himself posted a team picture of him with other World Cup winners called up to Clairefontaine this week, including N'Golo Kante, Kylian Mbappe and Hugo Lloris.
He also posted a video of the presentation box, showing that it is personalised with his name on the side, and that the ring rotates on its display plinth.

The rings, presented in red and dark blue boxes featuring small lights, features the French Football Federation's (FFF) initials and cockerel emblem in gold, on red, white and blue jewels, representing the tricolore flag.
The main body of the rings are silver, with the players' names monogrammed on one side, and 'World Cup champions' on the other, along with the scoreline in all seven of the games France played in Russia on their way to glory.
It was initially Atletico Madrid striker Griezmann who used social media to request diamond-encrusted rings to mark France's World Cup win.
Griezmann, a noted fan of American sports, contacted a Los Angeles jeweler to produced the France squad rings similar to those given to NFL and NBA champions.
