Manchester United supporters have slammed Paul Pogba over his comments that it would be a 'dream' to move to Real Madrid.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman flirted with the idea of linking up with Zinedine Zidane when asked about a potential switch on Wednesday.
Pogba
insisted that it would be a 'dream move' for anybody before he
committed himself to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's cause for the near future.
He told reporters on Wednesday: 'Like I've
always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It's one of the biggest
clubs in the world.
'There is also
Zidane as a coach and it's a dream for anybody who likes football. For
now, I'm at Manchester. We don't know what the future holds. I'm at
Manchester and I'm happy.'
The
26-year-old has been linked with a move to both Real and their fierce
rivals Barcelona and he appears to be a fan favourite with Madridistas
following a poll from Marca on Thursday.
However, his comments haven't put him in good stead with United fans who want him gone by the summer.
It isn't the first time Pogba has hinted at leaving the Premier League side.
Following
his difficult relationship with Jose Mourinho, Pogba was close to
leaving before Solskjaer arrived at the club to turn his fortunes
around.
